Jaspe del Genil is a third generation family owned company with more than 30 years of experience in the extraction, transformation and distribution of limestone aggregates.
Since it´s foundation, the firm has extracted limestone aggregates from Sierra Gorda Quarry in Puente Genil ( Córdoba, Spain).
The Quarry, historically dedicated to the manual extraction of limestone for the local market, was adquired in 1989 and transformed into an aggregates quarry equiped with the best production methods. The exceptional properties of our white limestone, the great
specialization of our human team and the
commitment to quality and
service of the company, have allowed us to be suppliers of the most
important precast concrete factories in the south of spain.
Currently,
coinciding with the incorporation of a new family generation to the management
team and with the expansion of our exploitation, the company opens a new line
of business consisting in a new quarry destined to the
extraction of blocks of white limestone.
With this initiative, the quarry returns to its origins in relation to the type of product extracted, but this time aimed to the global market.
One of our most important clients is Prefabricados Delta´s Puente Genil factory which opened in 1989 for the production of Spain´s high speed
railroad precast sleepers and large size high preasure pipes.
Throughout the years, and under the umbrella of Jaspe del Genil´s production capacity, quality and supply reliability, a number of leading precast companies have opened and grown around the area of Puente Genil, strategically located in the heart of Andalusia. Some of the most emblematic projects built by the companies that use our aggregates include parts of Real Madrid´s Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, the new Atletico Madrid´s Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, Malaga´s boardwalk or Sevilla´s Universal Expo park.
